1978年王伟生于河南省郑州市。 1988年王伟随启蒙恩师路立志先生学习长笛并随其夫人申佩云老师学习试唱练耳。 1990年王伟考入北京中央音乐学院附中师从王彤老师。 1993年王伟升入高中部开始师从我国著名长笛教育家王永新教授学习长笛直至2000年中央音乐学院本科毕业。 王伟在校高中一年级至大学毕业期间专业成绩几乎次次名列第一(包括铜木管各年级学生)。 1992年至1999年王伟分别跟随祝盾教授、白宇教授学习木管五重奏。 1997年王伟参加中国第一界管乐重奏大赛获第三名。 1993年至1996年进入中国少年交响乐团并任长笛首席兼短笛，1997年至1999年进入中国青年交响乐团任长笛首席兼短笛，随团在新加坡,马来西亚,香港和大陆各地巡回演出百余场。1998年王伟曾参加叶小刚现代音乐团巡演上海,西安音乐学院。 1996年至2002年在北京音乐厅，北京国图音乐厅，北京剧院，昆明剧院等举办多场独奏、重奏音乐会。 2000年王伟参加北京第二界全国长笛比赛获第二名(第一名空缺)。 2001年王伟获中国首界青少年艺术大赛专业组金奖。 2002年王伟与法国国家交响乐团竖琴首席Isabelle PERRIN女士录制的现场音乐会CD[秋日私语]在中国出版发行，2004年被收藏于巴黎Jean-Pierre Melville 图书馆。

2002年王伟赴法国巴黎随高等师范音乐学校Clodine cloutour女士继续进修长笛专业 。
2003年随著名长笛专家Pierre-Yves ARTAUD先生学习，并在Maurice Rarel音乐学院师从世界著名长笛独奏家BENOIT FROMANGER 先生学习深造至今。
2003-2005年期间，曾在法国巴黎市、圣-莫若斯市、 德国魏玛市，西班牙贝尼道姆市等地参加、举办个人独奏及重奏音乐会。
2005年3月在巴黎17个音乐学院统一举行的D.E.M文凭考试即长笛毕业考试中，王伟在16个参考者中脱颖而出获得 Mention tres bien avec l'unaminite(中文译为:成绩非常好，评委一致通过)。

2005年3月王伟参加第七界西班牙贝尼道姆 (Benidorm)国际长笛比赛荣获第二名。
2005年4月1日王伟参加在法国巴黎举办的雷奥保勒·贝朗(LEOPPOLD BELLAN) 国际长笛比赛，夺得最高荣誉奖(高于第一名) ,法文为Prix d'Honneur .

1988: Mr. Wangwei lived with his teacher Mr. Lu Lizhi in Henan Choric Group, he learned flute,singing and audition with his teacher.

1990: He entered Centre Music Institute accessorial middle school in Beijing and learned flute from Mr. Wang Yongxin, a famours flutist teacher.

1995: He participated in the 1st Chinese competition of wind instrument and won in 3rd.
2000: He took part in the 2nd Chinese competition of flute and got 2nd ( the 1st was absent ).
2001: He attended the 1st Chinese art performing competition and won 1st position!

2002: go to France for further studying of flute.

WANG WEI débute la flute en Chine à l'age de 10 ans avec LU Lizhi. Après deux ans, il rentre au conservatoire central de Beijing où il obtient le dipl?me de licence en 2000 avec WANG Yongxin .Depuis 2003 il étudie au Conservatoire du 13éme arrondissement et à l'école normale de musique de paris avec BENOIT FROMANGER et Pierre-Yves ARTAUD. WANG Wei a enregistré un CD avec Isabelle PERRIN,première harpiste de l'Orchestre national deFrance .Ce CD est conservé a la Médiathèque Jean-Pierre Melville (13éme arr ). En 2000 , WANG Wei a obtenu Deuxième prix dans le deuxème concours des fl?tistes de Chine (champion vacant) En 2001 il a gagné Médaille d'or du premier concours d'art des jeunes et des adolescents de Chine. Mars 2005 WANG Wei a obtenu Deuxième prix dans le 17é concours international de fl?te de Benidorm (Espagne). 1é Avril 2005 WANG Wei a gagné un Prix d'Honneur de concours international de fl?te de LOEPPOLD BELLAN à Paris.
