笛 子 的 故 事

那是1999年秋，我去沈阳出差下榻沈阳兰花酒店。晚餐时间巧遇我国著名笛子演奏家魏显忠老师，魏老师是国家一级演员，当时担任辽宁省歌舞团民族乐队队长并在沈阳音乐学院任教，也是广为流传的【扬鞭催马运粮忙】曲作者和演奏家。席间他为我们讲述了他的一个学生在澳大利亚“因笛得福”的故事。

那年他的一个学生毕业后去了澳大利亚，因为人生地不熟，生活习惯和语言等方面的障碍，一直没有找到工作。时间一天、一周、一个月地流逝，眼见随身带去的积蓄所剩无几了，连买回程机票的钱也不够了，而工作仍然没有着落。就在他穷困潦倒走头无路之际，他无意中发现了他随身携带的一盒笛子，于是第二天在车站口就出现了一位笛子演奏者。人们被他演奏的具有特殊韵味的中国作品所打动，每天都收入颇丰，更使他吃惊的是不知道从哪天开始总有一位年轻姑娘坐在那里一听就是几个小时，常常一直听到他收摊子。有一天他收拾完东西要走，那姑娘仍然坐在那里，他说“哈喽，请你明天再来吧！”那姑娘说：“不，我还想听，我能否跟你去你的住处继续听你的演奏？......”后来他和那位姑娘在澳大利亚成了家，他不但解决了生存和工作还得到了个洋媳妇。

The Story of Chinese Bamboo Flute

That was a day in the autumn of 1999, I went to business trip and stayed in Shenyang Orchid Hotel. I met Mr. Wei Xianzhong opportunely during supper, first grade performer of our country, he was the team leader of national band in Liaoning Choric Group and the teacher in Shenyang Music Institute. He is also the composer and solo performer of 【Horsewhiping and busy with Foodstuff Transportation】which was very popular at that period of time. During the conversation, he told us a story about one of his student in Australia, who got good fortune because of flute.

That year this graduated student went to Australia, since he was not familiar with local environment, custom and language etc, he did not find job all the time. With time went on, one day, one week, one month passed, the money at hand was less and less, even less than the worth of flight back-ticket, but he was still a jobless man. Just when he was fallen in dead end, he stumbled on a box of bamboo flute which he carried with, then next day, in a station entrance one flute player appeared. He moved all audiences by his excellent skill and special rhythm of Chinese music, every day he won much money, further more, he surprised that there was always a girl seating there and listen to his play for several hours up to the end of performance without knowing since what day. One day, after his end of solo play he prepared to leave but that girl still stayed there, he said: " Hello, welcome you to come again tomorrow! ",that girl said: " No, I still wanted to listen, may I follow you to your dormitory and continue to enjoy your flute? ......" Later, he established family with that girl locally, not only he solved living and job problem, but also got a foreign wife.
